True Freedom is Borne of Discipline. What is so hard about understanding that. You do not have the right to take my life or health away because your are mentally challenged.

(21,546 posts)It really infringes on my freedom to have to stop, go, stop, go, on the government's command. It's tyranny, just like being a slave.
And I don't need a fucking STOP sign to keep me safe. I am fully capable of looking both ways at an intersection.
The Nanny State needs to get off my ass. I am not one of these wimpy pajama boy morons who has to have their life mapped out by liberal politicians who have never held a real job in their lives.
Tomorrow, I'm going to put on my dress camo and load up my gun and run every STOP sign in town.
No goddamn cop will dare to stop me. And if I get arrested, I know this whole town will rise up to defend my freedom, because everyone knows how outrageous this libtard STOP sign fascism is.
Sorry about my correct spelling, but this has got me so mad!

(14,846 posts)Some libertarians actually think along those lines.
Clips of their crazy ideas were shown at a libertarian convention a few years ago, but I don't remember the source now. Maybe "The Daily Show" when Jon Stewart was the host?
I've worked alongside people like that too, and it surprises me when they say PROUDLY, and as if it wouldn't be as disturbing to me, "No, I'm not a Republican! I'm a Libertarian!"
