Mitt doesn't realize that the median income is actually less than Rafalca's yearly tax break

Things you learn from Mitt Romney:
GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: Is $100,000 middle income?
MITT ROMNEY: No, middle income is $200,000 to $250,000 and less.
What a funny out of touch rich man:
Regionally, in 2010, the Northeast reached a median household income of $53,283, the West, $53,142, the South, $45,492, and the Midwest, $48,445.

(37,573 posts)and I still don't know what (or who) the hell Rafalca is. Nor why they get a yearly tax break, or how much it is.
It might as well be a gigawatt.

(7,960 posts)Apparently through the magic of high priced lawyers and accountant the Mittster was able to swing a $70,000+ tax write off.
Nice work if you can get it.

(37,573 posts)Romney claims that his tax plan will not raise taxes on the middle class. He defines middle class the same way Obama does, as households making $250,000 or less.
Now Hullabaloo is correct to call BS on Romney's definition of "middle" class.
However, the same call could (and should) be levelled against Obama.
Bottom line is, the Bush tax cuts should be eliminated for incomes over $80,000.
