We can probably give up any hope of seeing his tax returns. It ain't gonna happen, IMHO.

until October 15, and very well may not be due even then depending on circumstances.

Any money he owes will have to have been paid by April 15th to avoid penalty and interest, but the actual returns can take a long time for people with complex income situations.
