Just Got Back from 7/11

Ever since I found out 7/11 has free espresso shots that you can put in your coffee, it has become my new cafe. The amount of caffiene I get for $1.50 is just fantastic.

Anyway, I was filling up my Obama cup and the manager walked by and said "Everyone is going with Obama. No one wants to take the Romney cups".

Now I find this to be quite hilarious, one because I hate Romney, but two, because I live in a very conservative area. I don't see Romney bumper stickers, I don't see any Romney lawn signs, and apparently no one wants to be seen with a Romney 7/11 cup either.

Perhaps not the best proof Romney is going to lose but it made my day, nonetheless.

My town was filled with Republican bumper stickers and lawn signs. Even as Obama was crushing McCain, there was still McCain/Palin crap everywhere. This year, it doesn't even look like an election is happening. There is no Obama stuff, which I am not surprised about (although people seem to at least want his coffee cups), but there is also no Romney stuff either. The last time I saw a bumper sticker was during the Republican primaries and they were all Gingrich and Perry stickers.

Poor Mitt. No one loves him

We just opened our local office yesterday, at least a month later than in 2008. That's our main source of election swag. Don't know if Romney has an office open yet--I'll ask when I go in to get my canvassing assignment in the morning.

In 2008, the day after the GOP infomercial (convention), my neighborhood was awash in McCain/Palin signs. So, far, I've only seen one Romney sign and all it says is "Romney." No "Ryan"

The espresso shots are in a little black pack. They say to have no more than 2 per day and no one under 18 should use them. That is the type of warning I like to see on my coffee.

Where are the Romney/Ryan signs at this Republican booth?

Not much in the way of Republican yard signs or bumper stickers that I have seen around the Kansas City/Independence MO. area.
I saw more Google fiber signs than political yard signs.

Here in So. West Missouri we have put out a missing person for an rmoney/ryan sign? yard sign or bumper snicker.
This is the most radical rt. wingnut part of the country. I have not seen one sign of them?. Now, I'm not complainin mindya.
Also, there are no todd akin signs. (Probably used them for firewood). He does have about one add a week on tv apologizing for what he thinks. Claire is still in a bit off a tight race? With out all that outside money coming in, she has a better chance. Branson does have a tea party office set up. That's been there for two years & the paint seems too be pealing off of it.

If this is indicative of how the populace is going to vote then Rmoney is TOAST!!
Nationally, their poll of the participating states is running 58%-42%!!
This is really facinating...there are only 3 states where Mittens is presently ahead.
IDAHO
WEST VIRGINIA
SOUTH CAROLINA
What's shocking is the following normally RED states are currently BLUE:
TEXAS
NEVADA
UTAH
KANSAS
MISSOURI
INDIANA
And get THIS...right now OHIO is 69-31 and FLORIDA is 54-46.
Holy shit Batman!
I'm going to bookmark their page and check it every day!
They also have a free LARGE coffee day (your choice of the Obama or RMoney cup) September 28th from 6am to 10 am.
Results on THAT day will really be interesting!
I'm loving this!
