Remember back awhile ago when Trump was accused of trying to get messages to Flynn after Flynn agreed to cooperate with Mueller's investigation? The messages were things about how much Trump liked Flynn and how he needed to remember that. They were borderline threatening if I remember correctly. There was a certain person involved and I can't remember. What do I need to look up to find that information again? Who were the persons involved? What key words should I search? It's like a blurred memory, but I remember it happening.

(2,193 posts)There is so much crap out there, his tweets and stunts fill the internet, trying to track down a specific thing takes good search skills, or a date or keyword.

(3,240 posts)Trump's attorney John Dowd also contacted the lawyers for Flynn that were helping him cooperate. I think I have enough clues now. Thanks.

"Flynn told Mueller that people tied to Trump and Congress tried to obstruct probe:
The communications could have affected the ex-national security adviser's "willingness to cooperate," Robert Mueller wrote in court filings. "

(13,083 posts)Pence knew everything, Trump knew everything. Flynn took one for the team and the whole stupid world keeps parroting that "he lied to the vp" line as if its an actual fact.
That "fact" came from Trump and Pence and the WH. Think on that for a second. Not a reliable source.

(3,240 posts)Having Pence out in public saying something the FBI knew was false totally legitimatizes the FBI interviewing Flynn. Flynn talked about the diplomatic sanctions on Russia with their ambassador. The FBI knew it because it is perfectly legal to listen in on foreign official's calls here in America. They just mask any American citizens on such calls. Hearing Pence's story didn't jive with what the Intel agencies knew and it sent up a red flag. They pretty much had to interview Flynn based on Pence's story not making sense. Flynn said he didn't recall talking about the sanctions but later pleaded guilty to lying.
This administration has itself to blame for bringing on the interview with Flynn they are now claiming was entrapment.
Flynn took the fall and Trump and his cronies owe him.
