Haley Barbour quote
There was a scathing quote from Troglodyte Republican Governor Haley Barbour earlier this year. He was talking about Rick Perry's failing nomination campaign and said, "You can step on your dick sometimes; you just can't jump up and down on it." Flash forward a few months and here we have Mitt Romney jumping up an down on his dick. Lying, flipflopping, peddling patently ridiculous numbers in his policy proposals, politicizing the murder of US diplomats (with yet more lies) and refusing to back down when called out on his mendacities and opportunism. It's so bad even his Republican allies won't play along with his dubious lines of attack.
And yet he holds onto 43% support in the polls. Let's let that sink in for a second. He's setting his hair on fire and lying through his teeth... and yet three out of seven voters are still supporting him. As a Democrat, I'll take the help. Thank you, governor. As an American, this makes me really sad.
