So.....who, what and when was the 1st post made on DU with reference to COVID-19??
I really would like to revist that post and comments...
And, a corollary question.....couldn't/shouldn't DU programming guru's do a deep search of all DU posts that mention "virus", "COVID-19", et al., and retroactively compile them in it's own top-level folder called "Trump Virus"? Wouldn't that be a great research tool for Democrats, sociologists, and historians to tap?

2. Mrs.Toad and one other person appear to have sounded the alarm first.
Those are the earliest posts that I remember, because at that time, I wasn't convinced that China was handling the outbreak properly (few medical facilities, turning people away, detaining people that tried to warn about a new disease).

11. Those are dated Jan 15 and Jan 26 respectively
I think you (or the date Google results put on it) are taking any date mentioned in the story - one of which was for a file photo.
The Jan 15 one is the earliest I can find on DU, though. |

10. Thanks All!
Yes, it was a topic of discussion here. What about the WH? Probably discussion on the strategic golf/rally plan in the Trump States for the Spring.
