Hmmmm. Just got an emergency alert on my phone

Columbus OH police have declared an emergency in the downtown area and telling people to stay away from the area. Didn’t get any alerts like this last night when things heated up. Wonder what’s going on?

"At about 12:30pm, police began announcing an emergency order had been issued and told protestors they needed to leave the area. Police stated that crowd control devices, including chemical agents, may be used, and protestors were subject to arrest if they did not leave the area."

10. No updates for the emergency alert so far this evening.

While I very rarely go on FB, I did today. Last thing I saw was people posting that some folks were throwing things from the freeway overpasses and urging people not to drive on 70. Haven’t watched the news so I don’t know if that’s accurate or not.
