1. Took a walk around SOHO/NOHO/Union Square today and saw the area where the car fire was.

Not as much damage as the news made out but lots of banks and some high end stores with broken windows.

Lots of places were already boarded up due to COVID.

5. Local News states there were roving looters in SF

No protesters there, just looters dressed all in black, drawing the outnumbered police from one location to another while they loaded their cars. TVs were left on the street when thy wouldn't fit their cars or the police arrived.

6. I believe those looters are not from the city and came from somewhere else.

A lot of MAGAs live in Contra Costa and easily could come into the city and cause mayhem.

She lives in walking distance to City Hall. All the stores in her neighborhood were vandalized and looted. The lobby of her building was damaged. A residential building a few blocks from her was torched last night. She tells me the looting in her neighborhood is still going on.

She was scared to leave her apartment due to Covid. Now she has another reason to be terrified.
