Egypt's Prime Minister Says Some Were Paid To Protest.....

Egypt's prime minister said some of the thousands involved in days of protests near the U.S. Embassy got paid to participate. Prime Minister Hesham Kandil said "a number" of those involved in the tense, sometimes violent protests, which began Tuesday, later confessed to getting paid to participate

Here's a link to CNN on this where you can read more on this.

Any guesses as to who would have the money to pay people in Egypt to protest? Why would they do that? Who would it benefit?

I wonder if we'll ever get the answers to these questions?

That think the new prime minister is too moderate.
If you think there's corruption , back room deals made on the side in the U.S government.
It's child's play to what happens in Islamic countries.

Could have been anyone even him to garner more money from the U.S

Yea I said it.

Like the whole situation was planned out well in advance. Even Cheney popping up just before. Then Mitt's statement which was a flop that he had to flip a few days later.

One to try and embarrass Obama.

Two, to keep ME tensions stirred.

Three, make Muslims look bad.

You know, same stuff different day. Same as it has been from the neo-cons for decades now. Or had you forgotten the history?

lately pushing for war with Iran.

Ledeen has been blogging his hateful, war-mongering I discovered recently, he's the guy who wants to turn the ME into a Giant Cauldron.

I haven't seen the Prince of Darkness around yet, but I'm sure he's definitely in contact with his old war criminal buddies.

Airc, they had 'friends' in almost every country in the world. Not to mention the 'ex-patriots' they were always able to produce to tell tales of babies in ovens and stir up the emotions of the American people to get them in the mood for war.

The video seems to me to have been just a prop. Timed to coincide with the orchestrated demonstrations across the region to make Americans view 'Islamists' as irrational, dangerous, lunatics.

I'm going to take a wild guess, which may be better suited to the tin foil hat forum, but it IS based on what we know they are capable of doing. The Obama administration (and Ledeen has been railing against Obama) is standing firm against that other Neocon, Netanyahu regarding starting a war in Iran.

The polls show that Americans do not want to get into any more wars and have mostly recovered from the 9/11 propaganda machine they paid for to get support for the beginning of their plans to reduce the Me to a parking lot.

How better to rouse up the emotions against Obama's policies re Iran than to create an image of rabid 'ragheads' screaming over a video and burning the American flag?

They are all around, they are on TV, their mercenary army and its Fundy Christian Crusader, Erik Prince are operating in the ME once again.

They want Obama to lose the election because they need a patsy like Romney who has no ideas of his own, and like Bush would probably go along with whatever they tell him to do and put them back in power so they can finish their seven country plan.

I'm willing to go way out on a limb (I wonder where Chalabi is btw) and say I would not be surprised if they were somehow involved in all this. Especially if money was being paid to orchestrate the demonstrations.

And I hope someone is keeping a close eye on them. Those are dangerous people.

But poppy Bush had his people intervene and shut it down. Cheney, et al have not given up. Heck, bet he still has moles all over DC.

Israel for some reason has leaders that want to go to war there and this little disturbance does nothing to hurt their ideas; mainly help.

Except for losing 4 people and the consulate, Obama and Clinton seem to be handling the situation well.

At this point I am wondering what else CheRom has up their sleeve.

to have put a couple of their underling associates away when we had a chance as a message to the rest of them. I'm thinking, for one example, of the sham DOJ decision on non-prosecution for the torture memos.

What price have they payed for any of it-- the Iraq War lies...or matters like this?:

US: Torture and Rendition to Gaddafi’s Libya
New Accounts of Waterboarding, Other Water Torture, Abuses in Secret Prisons
September 6, 2012

(Washington) – The United States government during the Bush administration tortured opponents of Muammar Gaddafi, then transferred them to mistreatment in Libya, according to accounts by former detainees and recently uncovered CIA and UK Secret Service documents, Human Rights Watch said in a report released today. One former detainee alleged he was waterboarded and another described a similar form of water torture, contradicting claims by Bush administration officials that only three men in US custody had been waterboarded.

Not only did the US deliver Gaddafi his enemies on a silver platter but it seems the CIA tortured many of them first. The scope of Bush administration abuse appears far broader than previously acknowledged and underscores the importance of opening up a full-scale inquiry into what happened.

They are a dangerous plague, still full of all their own hubris, to which we've refused to apply any legal antidote. And I keep thinking of that old adage, "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger."
