Following the line of thought about this administration offered by Senator Duckworth,

...Trump has fired everyone who opposes his illegal actions. At the end of the day then, all we have left in those important positions, in the Pentagon, for example, are those who will carry out illegal actions. If the administration does not acknowlege they are subject to any laws or court rulings and employ only those who are willing to carry out Trump's illegal orders, then is the coup not complete? If we have one side of the nation that will comply with the laws and the Constitution and the other side, supporting the White House, who doesn't even acknowlege the law and Constitution applies to them, don't we have the basis of the civil war we have suspected Trump was trying to establish? And if those of us who abide the law and Constitution continue to adhere to those principles while the other side refuses, haven't we already lost the battle?

Please offer some thoughts here. Feeling rather desperate.
