1. There should be a provision in the collective bargaining contracts for police

that if they are found guilty of killing for reasons other than accident and/or self defense, they lose their pensioins.

It's along the legal doctrine of if you murder the testator of a Will where you inherit as a beneficiary as a result of his/her death, you don't get your testamentary distribution.
