the problem that Romney and Ryan have is simple...

They appear to be disingenuous when they start to talk.

I don't know about you but Ryan looks to me like the smart kid in Junior High trying to present his science project to the class. He doesn't seem genuine at all. I think the word that comes to mind is Smarmy.

Hell, Santorum is a great speaker, one of the better ones on the GOP side. But this guy, this Ryan guy, he's not ready to convince people. He is good talking to those all ready on his side. But he just looks artificial, or an amateur might be a better word. He is not convincing anyone to switch voting or convince the few undecideds to come over to the GOP.

and trying to impress the teachers but comes off swarmy douche like instead. he doesn't actually come off as the smart one though, just thinks he is.

it looks like the asshole who got the job because he is friends or related to the family. or the guy who kisses the jackass bosses ass.

also like the asshole who would threaten to tell the boss on you because you came in a few seconds late.

that every time she sees/hears Paul Ryan on TV he gives her the 'creeps'.

Intellectually, he is very average. And I agree, he is smarmy. In another time and place, he would have been an aluminum siding salesman.
