First you need some sort of animal that interacts in the human world. Berke Breathed's more liberal Bloom County had a penguin and was successful so rip that off. Maybe make it a duck.

Next, every other character in the strip is a liberal straw man.

99% of the strips will follow the same format. Having ridiculous opinion that liberals actually don't believe brought up in first panel. Second panel has characters in silhouette continuing discussion. Last panel has straw man liberal in background making one last stupid statement with bird character in extreme close-up making supposedly pithy closing argument with one eyebrow raised.

Repeat ad nauseum.

Here's Scott Stantis' Sunday cartoon strip. Winslow the liberal character seems to be acting his silly old selfish self again; like all liberals he's only interested in a free ride on the cosmic gravy train. If only he were smart-- like a conservative-- he'd understand how conservatives take on the burden of ruling the universe so something can trickle down to the foolish, less able masses.

it's like the republican campaign, it isn't trying to convey information or educate, it's only trying to project an image. I'd say it's all sizzle and no steak, except is less like a sizzle and more like a plop...

Obama is supporting the protesters with all kinds of cash so he can get re-elected, then he'll raise his own flag and turn America into a Muslim nation led by Sharia Law...

I guess whoever this "comedian" is was listening to Limbaugh when Rush figured out that Al-Quaeda turned Bin Laden over to the US so Obama could send in Seal Team 6, kill Bin Laden and look good enough to get re-elected so he then use his second term to turn the US into a Muslim nation, enact Sharia Law and do all those horrible things that he didn't have time for in his first term.

BTW, Rush actually said this.

Political Cartoon Even More Boring And Confusing Than Issue

March 24, 2004 |PORTLAND, OR—A political cartoon in Monday's Daily Oregonian was more boring and confusing than the issue it attempted to address, area resident Craig Lawler reported Tuesday.

"I get the donkeys and elephants," said Lawler, a high-school biology teacher. "But the rest of the cartoon is just a confusing jumble of ambiguous symbols and weird objects. I thought it was about unemployment at first, which would have been boring enough, but then I noticed the word 'ethanol' over there on the jug, so I realized it's actually about commerce. I think."

After several minutes of careful inspection, Lawler identified the in- and outboxes on the elephant's desk as symbols of the nation's record-high monthly trade deficit.

"I finally figured out what subject we're even dealing with," Lawler said. "Now I just have to figure out what's being said and how it's funny or insightful—or, ideally, both."

I can't figure it out- is the cartoonist mad that we killed Bin Laden? Should Obama have kept his killing a secret? I thought the righties wanted to see the body!
