There's a new baby panda - born at the zoo last night!

Fisher said news of the birth - which was unexpected - is a very big deal for zoo officials, given that giant pandas in particular are probably some of the worst breeders in the entire animal kingdom.

The article has a link to the panda cam where you can watch Mei Xiang. She's sleeping now, but every now and then you can hear the baby squeak! It's so exciting!
