It's just that Romney can't seal the deal.
Does anyone believe this crap that's being pushed in the media?

(813 posts)The hatred has been there ever since a man who "doesn't look like us" with a "funny name" was elected as President of the United States.
The hatred has taken the form of "birthers," those who falsely accuse President Obama of being a Muslim, and those who falsely accuse him of being a Marxist/Socialist/Communist/takeyourpick.
The hatred has been stoked and fuelled by individuals such as Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage and Mark Levin, and by organisations such as NewsCorp and the Koch Brothers.
Though most of them are loath to admit it, the hatred has been largely based on President Obama's race. Witness some of the caricatures of him as a "witch doctor" and "ape" at some of the Tea Party rallies. However, if you confront them with this, they will accuse YOU of "playing the race card."
I have not encountered hatred of President Obama except among the most extreme right-wing elements of the GOP.
It is a fallacy (logical fallacy of hasty generalisation) to say that "Americans" hate the President and are "itching to replace him."

(1,944 posts)saying no to Obama; but fewer that are pro Romney - though they are more than say a couple of weeks ago. I have seen the anti-Obama on old junky cars and brand new Lexus - there seems to be no rhyme or reason except racism.
They make me sick.

(23,591 posts)I heard it on the radio(sirius xm) in my car so didn't catch who the woman was. It was on the Tamron Hall show, she wasn't there today. But it was several people and the RW supporter said, "the majority of people do not like this president." Or something to that effect. Now I admit,I'm pretty biased, but really? Is that the meme they are pushing how?

(1,435 posts)They are attacking his strength again as usual. People won't warm to Rmoney, his best shot was the convention which tried to humanize him. One good deed doesn't make up for the all pain he caused hundreds of people. He is planing more pain for the middle class, elderly, minorities etc. This time he wants to outsource truth and import Gop lies that will be exposed only after he won.
