Just realized: Santorum essentially called Republicans 'stupid' at VV meeting

I am a bit late to the party here but it just occurred to me that when Santorum shot off his mouth at the Values Voter summit over the weekend and said "Smart people will never vote for us" he was also inferring the other side of the coin that to vote for Republicans you must be stupid.

I agree, former Senator. May be the only time in my life I will agree with him.

Sorry I am so late on the uptake on this one.

What conclusion can you draw from this statement? What is the logical conclusion that can be drawn from such and such a statement?

"Smart people won't join our Party". The ONLY logical conclusion to be drawn from that statement is that STUPID people join our party.

I would rather be with the people of this town than with the finest people in the world.
