I’m pretty interested in his new organization - Powered by People. Really shrewd voter registration method of reaching those who’ve recently moved to the state.

I’ve already chipped in, and I should get involved calling/volunteer with them.

I thought he'd win, too, if he got the nomination.

- basically nonexistent contact tracing
- continuing to open despite rising case numbers
- my beloved Houston is facing dangerous outbreak levels
- can legally gather in groups up to 500 people
- republicon leadership wants people to have to show up in person to vote during the pandemic

I saw the crowds, I was there. Super talented and gave Texans of all stripes at his rallies the sense that they needn’t lower their expectations and just accept what the republicans are pushing.

And yeah, Beto is just getting started.

Heck, I’m wearing a Beto t-shirt today.

Noted about Schiff - will try to catch him.

I first saw him in the middle of nowhere when he was driving from county to county like an itinerant preacher. Full of fire and charisma, even for a small audience.

He was pretty big at that point. I’ll never forget that energy. Kid working at the gas station was elated that he came to Conroe.

Left an energy wake everywhere he went, because finally someone saw/spoke to how nuanced Texas really is.
