And With That, Ladies And Gentlemen, The Incipient Civil War Within The Republican Party

Is now enjoined.

There is no reason for any one of the factions to remain loyal to Romney's absolute and total failure of a campaign.

The Teabaggers never really believed or trusted him, even after Ryan was brought on board to mollify them. They are now free to fuck him over verbally just as loud as they can, there is no downside to throwing Romney under the bus now.

Even though the Teabagger is a dying breed as they are really nothing more than a bunch of shattered fragments of fiefdoms furiously fought over by erstwhile small-time grifters, con men, and political empire builders, they can still do some damage to the Republican Party by going their own way, and taking the Hoverround vote with them to whatever third-party dead-end they'll end up in.

The Billionaires will not be spending all that money they had put aside to try and salvage this disaster, they will start packing things up within the next week or so and save their efforts for the next go-round. They are finally coming to the realization that this is a lost cause, and there isn't enough money printed in all of human history to be able to buy Romney a soul.

They are coming to understand that having more money than some nations doesn't really matter if all you can do with it is waste it by spending it on is a 6' 2" human turd that cannot be polished by any known means, no matter how much money is spent seeking a solution.

The Old Guard is wondering if this is the chance to regain the control of the Republican Party away from the crazies. They know that letting the Birchers, Religious Nuts, Randians, and Racists take control of the wheel was a Faustian bargain at best, as there was no way that the Far Right Loons can keep the crazy hidden for that long from the rest of us.

Good thing is, the Old Guard is feeble and almost extinct. Otherwise, they might be able to salvage what is left of the Republican Party and set it to rights and become an actual political party once again, but it is too late now. They pretty much fucked themselves when they sold their souls in exchange for power.

The Religiously Insane wing of the Republican Party now can come right out and say what they really think about Mormons, and how they were right all along to not really trust those devil-worshiping cultists who have death rituals and secret handshakes and follow a con man as their prophet instead of bellowing pompous big-haired television huckster fleecing the dim-witted out of their money while pretending to be pastor of a church like ever body else.

I almost feel sorry for the Randians, who actually thought that this was their Shining Moment, only to see that rug get pulled right out from under their feet. As the bearers of The Absolute Truth, they were poised to take total control of the heart, mind, and soul of the Republican Party by telling the Wealthy what they wanted to hear; that being a bunch of greedy pricks was just fine, and the rest of us were just so many parasites to dispose of in any manner they saw fit, as, after all, the Wealthy are all just so superior to every other human on the planet because, well, they're rich.

The Coalition of Crazy is shattered, and we can all thank Willard Mitt Romney for accomplishing from within what we have been trying to do from the outside.

I wouldn't be surprised after the past three weeks of the Romney & Ryan show.

Rim Job swore he'd shut down FR sooner than voting for Romney and purged hundreds (thousands?) of Romney supporters before doing a 180 and urging everyone to vote for Rmoney.

They love it. They see themselves as people who don't get anything from government, but pay into it - no matter how delusional that belief is in their own cases.

I think that will be the general reaction of Tea Partiers. They will agree with him, and rally behind him. The people it's going to turn off are moderates and independents. So electorally, it's bad for him. It's put him into the Sharron Angle, Joe Miller and Christine O'Donnell category - overreach by the teabaggers.
