And yes, Ted Cruz has no soul, no values, no morals and absolutely no self respect. He would literally sell his children and his mother cheap for political gain.

majority of people so as to silence rw hate media. It took awhile but I don't hear the right screaming about getting rid of the ACA and I am aware of the litigation in SCOTUS. But take away pre-existing conditions and you will see riots. Break up these media conglomerates and put ownership limits in place. Go after advertisers aggressively. Trump has expanded the power of the president to an unimaginable level. So when we win there should be no problem with an extremely progressive agenda. Make DC a State, get rid of the filibuster. Make Warren the Trust busting Czar. Go after big banks, big tech and pack the court's to dilute Trump's appointments. Go after Kavenaugh and have a real investigation into his lies during his confirmation hearing. The little lies told under oath about the Renata Club, what "Boof" meant. Have real witnesses and then impeach the bastard. Any R Senator votes no to removing him, punish that State financially depriving them of Federal funds. I don't know but we must get real creative and use the power of the President to crush them.

And some of them are OK. Sure let's make DC a state. Don't know how that would destroy Fox news however.

the rw media will just distort and lie about it so a good portion of the country will be against it. An example 2010 Dems lose the House because they passed a good healthcare bill and paid the price politically.

Comprehensive media literacy programs in schools, beginning with preschool.

Every semester, every grade level, study media, and better yet, practice the craft of information gathering and presenting it in a clear, thoughtful and truthful manner — you know, journalism.

An educated electorate will eventually drive propaganda from the marketplace.

(At least that's the theory, though my faith in humanity is dwindling, even as I type.)

Our democracy is based on the truth rising like cream. When all things are equal, it shows itself. My wife, in the face of my outspoken liberal rants, constantly calls me out on living in my MSNBC bubble. While she is really reacting to me being smug rather than disagreeing with my conclusions (aren’t relationships wonderful/happily 24 years), her point is taken. I literally married a rocket scientist. The scientific method demands a constant revaluation of your thesis. A nazis on MSNBC will be disemboweled in the resulting discussion. The cream will become more evident.

... DU? That would be fair, right?

You might think there will be democratic socialists on Fox News. Don't bet on it. You and me probably won't be the ones who decide what is and isn't fair. After all, we are already being told that "Facebook discriminates against conservatives".

In the digital age Nazis already have access to all the media that they need and deserve. And we also have the right to ignore them (yes, that's a right) by tuning into MSNBC, or clicking through to DU.

The fairness doctrine is antiquated and unnecessary. Any resurrection of it is just an attempt to impose ones own point of view on others.
