What if, God forbid, this man actually becomes President?

Here is just a partial list of potential catastrophies:
1. ENDLESS WARS? With Russia? Libya? Iran? North Korea? Will he get us back into a war with Iraq?
2. ENDLESS DEFICITS? Fewer taxes and more wars means more deficits.
3. GOODBYE JOBS – Companies being shut down and jobs being shipped overseas. Being 47th in nation for job creation while Romney was governor is not a good record.
4. LOTS MORE POVERTY AND SUFFERING – No more government assistance or humanitarian aid to those going through hardships. Without Medicaid, elderly and children will suffer the most.
5. NO MORE WOMEN’S RIGHTS – With birth control being considered “immoral”, women’s health being ignored, and the “personhood” of corporations and fertilized eggs having more rights than women.
6. CORPORATE TAKEOVER OF OUR GOVERNMENT. “Corporations are people” and no more government regulations.
7. DISHONESTY IN GOVERNMENT WILL BECOME THE NORM – Romney cannot tell the truth.
8. AMERICA’S IMAGE OVER SEAS will be ruined.
9. END TO ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION – Goodbye future. Hello cancer.
10. Without government, aggressive, greedy bullies will takeover.

I think I would definitely prefer Bush. Can anyone think of any more tragedies?

and yes, I can think of more, but I feel more and more confident that he will never be President.

are the norm, they have been going on for a long time and continue under President Obama. Besides that though, Romney isn't going to win. He is tanking and he will continue to tank. This is going to be the most lopsided election in recent memory for President Obama.

He is the most extreme of the last 4 republicans who ran for or held that office.

He is the 5th demon.

Republicans are constantly screaming doom doom when they don't get their way. If we loose, we retrench, dig in, and keep on fighting.

Jimmy Carter is claiming Romney is a moderate.

Only they would pay less to the employees than they do now in third world countries. Why ship jobs overseas when we would become competitive with the lowest paying ones in the world? The lucky ones would work as servants in their big houses because they would have nice clean clothes.

And thus the 47% would finally earn our keep.

Israel, here I come. I would rather take my chances with Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah and haheredim. At least that country admits that everyone does have a some responsibility to each other. While it is far from perfect, I know I would never be allowed to starve or die for lack or health care. Save me a gas mask, hamishpakha!

People that are totally pissed off right now about the state of things will sit by and watch their jobs disappear and their children go hungry without doing something about it.

People are sick of paying more in taxes than the Billionaires and getting less and less in return for it.

The religious culture war bullshit won't wash anymore even with the Teabagger/Freeper types as their benefits get taken away from them and that money given to those that have no need of even more money.

Go to the poorest White counties in this nation and see who they vote for, see how much they depend on governmental assistance to survive, and then have a Billionaire take that from them and see what happens.

If Romney stopped food assistance and medical care for the Appalachian counties in Ohio, for instance, who are statistically the poorest, Whitest and reliably Reddest in their voting, those people would not just sit there and take it.

The shit would hit the fan.

I agree --shit would hit the fan.

People who say we would just suffer it are wrong IMO. This is a watershed moment.
