A real question on the 47%. I know people say these people are retired people or people

making $20,000.00 and below BUT what about people who are working but actually get a refund at the end of the year.

Does Romney lump us in the 47%?

If your refund is money above the income you tax you actually owed, IOW, the result of an over-payment, you still paid income taxes.

Romney, otoh, paid no income taxes because he makes no income. He has capital gains and dividends.

by using Earned Income Tax Credits or other methods in the tax code, then you are part of the 47% (which is a questionable number anyway).

Total cost for EITC in 2011 - $78B (about the same as Food Stamps).

After all, the children are our future.

The Republicans can't be pro-life and against a child tax credit. Besides, this refund encourages individuals to remain together and work, since the refund credit is much smaller than welfare.
