Romney Adviser: Leaked Fundraiser Video A ‘Bump In The Road’

Bay Buchanan, an adviser to Mitt Romney, tried to downplay the importance of video footage of Mitt Romney calling supporters of President Obama dependent on government but admitted that the video of is not good for the Republican nominee in an interview on CNN's "Starting Point" Tuesday morning.

"Certainly, this is a bump in the road," Buchanan said.

Buchanan added that Obama was having a bad week too due to deadly protest in the Middle East. "He has spent the last week with America watching as his foreign policy of appeasement and apologies has disintegrated," she said.

New Romney Ad Highlights Economic Hardships For Women

Mitt Romney's latest ad goes after women voters by highlighting the tough economic times for women today. Called "Dear Daughter," the ad shows a woman holding a baby while a narrator discusses the tough economy.

“Dear daughter, welcome to America," the narrator says over images of the baby. “Obama’s policies are making it harder on women. The poverty rate for women – the highest in 17 years. More women are unemployed under President Obama. More than 5.5 million women can’t find work."

“That’s what Obama’s policies have done for women," the narrator ends the ad. “Welcome, daughter.”
