Then there's hating on a good percentage of the country and saying you intend to show zero leadership in foreign affairs and just "kick the ball down the road" if elected.

Nice spin Chuckie.

clinging to God, Guns and Religion.

What these shills don't realize is that jerkomney's comments are the icing on the cake of all his other comments made & his obvious disdain for the commoners.

President Obama's comment was bad - even Biden gave him crap about it.....

You cannot compare these two men and those comments. Obama was trying to be empathetic.
Romney was just being a dick.

Immediately after his "clinging" remark he made the point that you have to keep going out to talk to both the folks who agree with you and those who don't:

"Um, now these are in some communities, you know. I think what you'll find is, is that people of every background, um, there are gonna be a mix of people, you can go in the toughest neighborhoods, you know working-class lunch-pail folks, you'll find Obama enthusiasts. Uh, and you can go into places where you think that I'd be very strong and people will just be skeptical. The important thing is that you show up and you're doing what you're doing. So ... (unintelligible, loud applause)

But the truth is, is that, our challenge is to get people persuaded that we can make progress when there's not evidence of that in their daily lives. You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. So it's not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

Um, now these are in some communities, you know. I think what you'll find is, is that people of every background -- there are gonna be a mix of people, you can go in the toughest neighborhoods, you know working-class lunch-pail folks, you'll find Obama enthusiasts. And you can go into places where you think I'd be very strong and people will just be skeptical. The important thing is that you show up and you're doing what you're doing.

GOP created that connection and it wasn't true.

Romney thinks the wealthy should pay the same tax rate as 47% of Americans, he believes it, he stands by it as does his VP - they've said it over and over again. I have no doubt he will do exactly what he says.

There's a difference.

Andrea and Chuck and Joe? The people who can't see through them do NOT watch them. They watch Fox or listen to Rush on the radio. So they aren't influencing anyone - and the people that watch MSNBC can see through these fools. We can. Which is why we get incensed at DU - or laugh AT them at DU everytime they spout off their nonsense.
