Can I just say that when we get the Senate the first thing we do
is add 2 or 3 seats to SCOTUS. Start with Mr. Garland. Nobody says it has to be 9.

1. We're gonna need a lot more than just a majority.
Pete had some good ideas he introduced in his campaign.

2. Nope. Kill the fillibuster. Without that, nothing gets done...
McConnell escalated, time to escalate back.
Unless we can pass shit with a simple majority, Repubs will allow nothing. I can guaran-fucking-tee that. |

3. Court packing was a bad idea when FDR suggested
it in 1937. It still is.

4. The court felt the heat and that's what FDR wanted. nt

5. Maybe. Maybe not.
Roberts vote and decision in the Parrish case, the “switch in time that saved nine,”. Took place before the legislation was introduced, or even announced.

6. TERM LIMITS for ALL lifetime appointments, to reverse Moscow Mitch's court-packing
We cannot have several generations of conservative SCOTUS & lower court appointees.

7. Better yet, term limits on SCOTUS justices.
Nothing less than 12 year terms or more than 20, IMO. Then, stagger them so they cycle in and out. No more lifetime appointments.
We live in rapidly changing times. The politicization of the court is a big problem that needs to be addressed. |

10. Garland is too old at this point.
Anyone we nominate to the Supreme Court needs to be in their mid mid-50's or younger.

12. Assuming RBG retires early Feb 2021.
Let's do it.
