The Obama boiler room is running with a genuinely ruthless efficiency in getting responses out there.

(5,810 posts)What could we expect? We've known all along that people had a cautious dislike of this guy all along. But some were willing to vote for him because they wanted Obama out. So we figured they would hold their nose and vote for Romney anyhow. However, there was always the possibility that he would go too far and that might turn people off enough that they would just not vote. We never envisioned them coming over to Obama---but that they'd just stay home on Nov. 6th. Or at least that is what some of us were hoping would happen.
Well, it appears that our dreams came true and he really has gone too far this time. Whether they vote for Obama is not that important to me. If they just stay home and don't vote that may be enough to offset the ones the Republicans will disenfranchise through their voter purges around the country!

Make sure 2012 will be remembered for the purge of the Teabaggers and Malcontents.

(20,570 posts)I think the fact that these regular people speak intelligently on their feet, but lack the perfection of a professionally coiffed anchor, really makes it a bulls-eye.
No one wants to hear any more tv analysts/experts/personalities take sides. It's just an honest reaction of revulsion, rather than a policy debate.

(2,198 posts)I think they may be holding back on ads in some places to save money to do this...respond to every lie and misrepresentation Mitt and Mittens (Paul) speak. It's great, simple, direct and even the teabaggers can understand it.

(14,040 posts)1: The men probably wouldn't/couldn't stop to watch the video and participate. When I do random user-testing for apps, I always get more female respondents. Men often say they are too busy to participate.
2: The men they did stop probably agreed with most of what RMoney said
3: Women are actually the majority now, so appealing to women in this ad, who are more often than not referred to as victims, was smart.

(11,229 posts)Finish off Romney and never let America forget what the rethugs and tea baggers really believe.
Get the house back in 2014, and let Obama restore order in this country.

(127 posts)The prefect ending to all of this would be to see the rat bastard convicted of tax evasion. Thing is, unlike Dubya, *everyone* seems to hate Mittens, so I doubt even the right would save him-- or attempt to do so, as was the case for W and his legal transgressions.
