How long into the Biden administration before Republicans start complaining about the pandemic?

Last edited Thu Jul 9, 2020, 09:42 AM - Edit history (1)

I am sure that this pandemic is still going to be going strong well into next year. Particularly since the President and many Republican leaders are going to refuse to do anything to slow it down.

I am betting that about 3 months into Biden's first term, around April/May, we are going to be hearing from Republicans about how Biden has failed at stopping the pandemic.

1. January 20th, 2021

Inauguration Day.

You can bet the talking heads on FOX will have already ascribed all the blame for the pandemic, economy, and whatever other stench Trump has left behind, to Joe.

And their flock will continue to suffer from cognitive dissonance and nod their heads in feeble agreement.

8. What really chaps me is the Republicans bitching about the deficit--

When THEY are responsible for the deficit being in the stratosphere.

12. They claim to know so much about business, yet don't see what the Republican Pump & Dump Economy...

Really does to the national debt and infrastructure of the country. Not to mention siphoning away the well being of U.S. Citizens to finance the credit card bill they ran up.

6. I'm pretty sure

Trump has ALREADY been blaming Biden for the pandemic — that’s what all the “cupboards were bare” crap was about, not to mention the line about the Obama admin failing to come up with a vaccine (for a virus that didn’t exist until 2019).

But sure, no doubt the GOP would pivot directly to “Biden’s failed response” on day one of his presidency. And you can guarantee that once they’re no longer in charge and therefore not responsible for the pandemic response, they’ll go into double overdrive with the “masks are for commies” talk, trying to keep the pandemic raging so they can put the blame on Biden.

Republicans gonna Republican

13. Good point.

I forgot about the lack of vaccines and tests for a virus that didn’t exist yet complaint.
