Mitt hates those moochers who expect a handout but Ann who has never worked a day in her life

is a hard stay at home mom worker!!!!!! She deserves the incredible wealth that she never lifted a finger to make.

The rest of us moms, whether we work or not, well fuck us.

She did not get a medical deduction for her personal horses.

Mittens got a business deduction for the Olympic horse. They are business partners with their trainer and another 1%. Rafalca the Olympic horse is the business and Rafalca's expenses were the deduction. Also, the $70,000 deduction they tried to claim was denied, with less than $100 allowed by the IRS. Unless and until Rafalca turns a profit (extremely unlikely, to be honest) they will never get anything close to the deduction they tried to claim. It is more likely that Rafalca will end up declared a hobby. It costs a lot of money to train and compete a horse to the Olympic level. They probably will never get back their investment. That is something to smile about. Horses always manage to make their undeserving owners "eat dirt."

I just didn't catch the joke I guess because there was a lot of discussion around it when it first came out.

A lot of people believed they tried to get a medical deduction off her horses. There is so much irrefutable criticism, I just don't want to muddy the waters. Although even the fact that they tried to get a $70K deduction for a horse that hasn't earned them any money strikes me as pretty scummy.

9. Y'know what - I'll concede that being a stay-at-home-mom with a pack of kids is bust ass work, but..

..but it's a lot different for a stay-at -home mom who never has to worry about finances; can afford maids and nannies; who never has to worry about affording her Tsybari infusion -- or whatever she uses (yes, I went there); and who can afford expensive dancing horses as a hobby.

But, of course as with all wealthy people and Teabaggers and Republicans, when one of theirs stays home that's different.
