I don't think it will give Obama a bump, but it might further motivate our side to vote and lower Romney's ceiling. I'll be happy to take that to Election Day.

(34,857 posts)BUT it's just another week lost for Mitt Romney. That's where it's most damaging. He's got 50 days, probably less if you factor in the reality that elections almost always settle a couple weeks out, to change courses and he's just not getting it done. He failed at his convention. He failed last week and he's failing this week. This won't kill his poll numbers, but it makes it that much more harder for Romney to pass Obama in the polls.
Every week that goes by without Romney making some headway is a weekend lost and he's running out of weeks.

(9,033 posts)Too much of the country is batshit crazy to really move the dial...but maybe some will lose heart (as if they had any!) and stay home. We can use all the help we can get on the down-ballot races.
