Donald Trump is like a very bad TV show, forced to stay on by the network. And it is good for us.

..And, it is good for the U.S.A. Trump has been on too long. Everyone has their own definition of "too long," but it is clear, he has been on ."too long." Countless examples right here at Democratic Underground of life long republicans who will not vote for Trump. We have a clue, but many don't. Trump is on TV with his lies day after day after day...On and on for all to see and get tired of. We are sick of Donald Trump, but many of us cannot imagine that the republicans are sick of him too.

...But I believe they are, and this time most republicans will agree to get rid of Donald Trump. Those republicans will vote this way for one time only, and they get rid of Trump. And they will agree with most of the people in this country, that Trump is evil and hurting all of us. This is the patriotic thing to do, and they will vote for Joe Biden for that reason.

Now it's exhausting and run its course. For a lot of Americans, it's becoming increasingly difficult to sit through his tirades on TV.

I laughed out loud. That is the LAST thing they need to do. Those appearances were the tipping point on his numbers dropping like a stone. Everyone got an up close look at his true nature. Those were a disaster.

I don’t think it’s possible to run for office without the product (candidate) not appearing in public ....so I have no idea what they are going to do.

They can write out a speech and have him read off the teleprompter, but even that goes badly for him. They can't have him answer questions, or do interviews, because he makes wild claims and accusations - even in favorable interviews like with Sean Hannity.

The biggest problem for Trump is that he does not have Hillary to riff on anymore. That's what masked a lot of his crazy rants because he'd talk about her, and people would lose their minds and ignore the other crazy shit he was saying because, gosh, did you hear what he said about Hillary?

Of course, it also hurts his cause that he's the president now. Maybe that wild shit stirring was okay for a candidate, but NOT the sitting president. Not when 150,000 Americans have died from this disease that appears no more under control today than back in March when everything shut down.

sitting back, saving their resources for later when it matters most, and letting Trump be out there destroying himself everyday. Joe gets more votes every time Trump opens his mouth and gives us a vision into his warped mind.

2016 was never a referendum on Trump and it allowed for talking points to weasel themselves into the discussion about how both candidates were awful, or how Clinton was just as bad as Trump or that at least Trump would 'shake things up'. I hated it then and I hate it now.

2020 is about Donald Trump. That is not a good sign because those elections typically favor the challenger, especially when the president is as unpopular as Trump is currently.

Yes, parts of the west cost may still be voting, but I don't think it will matter. Trump is a very bad pizza that is rotten and moldy and non eatable. And it stinks too..

I am eagerly waiting for those words too.
