Dean Heller: I Dont View The World Like Romney
Sen. Dean Heller (R-NV), who is facing a challenge from Democratic Rep. Shelley Berkley, said on Wednesday that he doesn't share Mitt Romney's view of the world, particularly Romney's remark that 47 percent of Americans are dependent on government handouts.
You got to understand, I grew up with five brothers and sisters," Heller told Politico. "My father was an automechanic. My mother was a school cook. I just dont view the world the same way he does."
Every vote in Nevada counts, every vote. And as a United States senator, my job is represent every one of those votes, whether they voted for me or against me," he added.
Heller joins Sen. Scott Brown and Connecticut Senate candidate Linda McMahon in repudiating remarks made by Mitt Romney that were unearthed by a secret video tape earlier this week.
