An odd comment from a small business owner...
A sandwich shop "investor" (owner, I guess) in this article makes a strange comment when discussing the federal unemployment enhancement:
"If the government is paying more to stay home, why would those people be out there risking their lives"
What I would like to ask the shop owner is "why are you open if you acknowledge that you are forcing your employees to risk their lives?"

their lives. Or he does, but thinks that's a bad thing.
We should also mandate sick pay for workers who have to quarantine so that they can stay home and keep everyone else safe. We shouldn't incentivize employees risking their lives and others.
if they don't have to? I just don't get it. Here they have the opportunity to lay down their lives so I can get richer - and they are using every possible avenue, including trying to get government money, to avoid that. I just don't get it!
