Remember 2004.

In 2008, Obama won in a landslide so there was no way Republicans could steal the election.

But remember 2004.

Remember that the polls showed it was close, but remember that some of them just smiled and said that their own "internal polling" showed they were winning. Some of us knew from that reporting that "something was up".

Remember that all exit polling was showing that Kerry was winning - but when the "actuals" starting coming in the Exit Polling companies started revising their numbers to match the "actuals" - but what if the exit polling was correct and the "actuals" were manipulated?

Remember that every single polling company, whether independent or not, "got it wrong"; except for Rasmussen who somehow was "dead-on" even using methodologies that were (to be kind) questionable. And, let's not forget, that is what gave Rasmussen "credibility".

It is pretty obvious to the casual observer that the results were fixed, and given to Rasmussen to A) give the results some credibility and B) to establish this relative newcomer Rasmussen as an accurate pollster - indeed, the "only" accurate pollster.

Since 2004, one party has successfully passed voter suppression laws, favorable re-redistricting plans, and non-verifiable Black Box Voting which can be easily manipulated.

The only reason that we won in 2008 was because it was a landslide and would have exposed the "dirty tricks". That means we need to GOTV. Damn the Voter Suppression (ID) laws. We need to win by a landslide again to keep them from cheating forever.

In other countries, they use exit polling to keep the Election Process honest. Here, they adjust the Exit Polling to match the unverifiable and possibly stolen results.

I intend to vote, but I also intend to be very vocal when they ask for my ID and also when I vote on a BBV machine. Other than that, I intend to help GOTV in any way I can.

as an independent adviser.
For a country that portrays itself as a beacon of Democracy, we have the worst voting laws.
