Paul Ryan said WHAT??
What is WRONG with so many Conservatives when it comes to just OPENLY EMBRACING and DEFENDING Limited Government and a free market for free people?
They need to just DO it, and stop being such pusillanimous WIMPS!

Oh Paul; say it aint so. What was so dang inarticulate? Ryan should have said: He told the truth. The line is drawn in the sand. Now, lets have the debate and let America decide.
Im disappointed in Paul Ryan.

However, a rare gleam of reason from poster #10:
I disagree that everyone - equalling the 47% who dont pay income taxes - who receives something from the government, is as Romney appeared to be describing.
He needs to flesh out who he means. He cant mean government retirees, or those receiving medicare, social security retirement, unemployment if indeed they have tried and tried and could not find work or working but too poor to pay taxes etc...but the enemy within is now in full throttle to convince Americans that is exactly what he meant.

post 15. Such an incomprehensible spew of rage and nonsense and pure hatred, it's hard to discern just what he's against or for but goddammit he doesn't like whatever it is!

(20,135 posts)2. Poster #10: Why shouldn't those people be included?
You guys say you're against "sosh-uh-lizm" and "big gubmint"...why should SS and Medicare be exempted from that? They are government programs every bit as much as welfare and foodstamps are.
