Trump Invited Himself to Throw Out First Pitch

"An hour before Dr. Anthony S. Fauci threw the first pitch at the season opener between the New York Yankees and the Washington Nationals, President Trump stood on the briefing room stage at the White House and declared that he, too, had been invited to throw out his own opening pitch,” the New York Times reports.

Said Trump: “Randy Levine is a great friend of mine from the Yankees. And he asked me to throw out the first pitch, and I think I’m doing that on Aug. 15 at Yankee Stadium.”

“There was one problem: Mr. Trump had not actually been invited on that day by the Yankees… His announcement surprised both Yankees officials and the White House staff.”

This is why you don't invite him to your funeral. He'll try to upstage your corpse

He'd fit right in at the christening, since his behavior is infantile

the corpse clause *first*! So I guess its become pretty squishy. I like the way I heard it best. The corpse is slightly shocking when it comes last.

If I gather up the energy , I’ll look to see if I still have the Eleanor Roosevelt biography where I first saw it. It was said after Theodore upstaged Franklin and Eleanor at their own wedding ( which you probably knew, but it’s a great story for those who didn’t).

Take Me Out to the Ballgame
Steve Goodman ****My Edited version****

Take me out to the ballgame
Take me out to the crowd
We will buy you some peanuts and “hamberders.”
We don't care if You ever get back
So it's root, root, root, for the home team
When you lose it is shame, it's the game
It's one, two, three strikes you're in jail
At the old ballgame

LOCK HIM UP!

He's send a letter congratulating some town on the statue of him they'd recently erected, and promise to come visit in the near future. Well, you can bet they got busy and put up a statue!

Doesn't work if you're a lame-ass disgrace who's about to be tossed out by the voters.

He has acquaintances, but no one is foolish enough to count him as a "great friend". Everyone has seen how Trump treats his "great friends", and it usually ends with that "great friend" being thrown under a moving bus.

Movie from 1975.
Grace Pander referred to everyone as her dear friend.
Even people she was meeting for the first time
That's trump's great friends
He knows them and they haven't kicked him down the stairs
