Ugh--our media!! Where is the coverage on Russian bounties?

Why aren’t we hearing more about the bounties Russia paid the Taliban for killing US Soldiers??? No, we’re onto the next distraction. Today’s headline was “Trump wears mask at while touring laboratory.” Seriously???? Why not “Trump flosses teeth after brushing.” Or “Trump washes hands after using urinal.” Dear God.

If I were a family member of one of the soldiers killed by bounty rewarded Taliban I’d be all the more traumatized by the fact that we LEARNED this horrible information about bounties being paid, yet ignored the story for what equates to a gossip rag story.

I’m furious. The media, our Government representatives, our military, and the citizen’s of the United Stars need to demand answers! Don’t let up until we do.

It seems to me there is so much shit that we are all just used to living with a shit stained society.

Afghans against Russians. No question that trump should have said something. But making a big deal of it wouldn’t have helped.

Fortunately, troop deaths have been low there recently, and we should have left long ago.

4. I'm sure the families aren't thinking "oh well, it's not like we haven't done the same"

While I understand your point, this isn’t about whether or not US has done the same, that is a whole different issue. We paid more attention to US soldiers torturing Iraqi soldiers during the Iraq war (rightfully so) then we are about our OWN being hunted down for a bounty.

5. I get it too; but, I'm not for sanctioning or bombing Russia for doing

what we’d do.

About all trump can do is tell Putin to knock it off with no impact, or remind him that bounties on US troops aren’t helping his re-election campaign.

And we've done it?
Youbetcherass.
What does that have to do with anything? You want to play fair?
The Russians can sanction us... after all, they fucking OWN our elections...but we apparently can't even issue a harsh memo about them.
Russia ranks 11th in world economies.
They don't have to stay there, and we can help ease them into 12th. Or 20th...

BUT.
We're not a Banana Republic.
Yet.
We don't have to put up with behavior like election interference... or bounties on the heads of our troops. Certainly not from a hostile foreign power.
You seem to be equating the US with other countries.
MY loyalties are to the US.... as imperfect as it is.

11. Yeah, we can do these things, but shouldn't expect other countries

to do the same.

Do you think we should bomb other countries to keep them from getting nukes?

I’m not much of an American Firster, to be honest. If we won’t do it, I don’t expect others to.

It has now been over a month since it was made public and Trump still hasn't said anything. You have any friends or family that have served in our armed forces? This is disgraceful for the CIC not to even acknowledge the bounties.
Maybe he's got a big surprise retaliation in store for Russia? (sarcasm mode on)
He is just hoping it goes away like the virus. (disgust mode on)

Why does there have to be something “new” to report on such a horrifying revelation? Here’s what’s new—every day that goes by and Trump won’t address this issue, or even acknowledge it.

My heart breaks for those families. Not only did their son/daughter/brother/sister die, but the public just found out Russia may have paid a bounty for their deaths AND NO ONE CARES. If nothing else I want the media to cover this so those families know that many of us DO care.
