Everyone has a different experience with Facebook.

I think I probably would have committed suicide if I didn't have the support of the network of friends I have there.

Sometimes when I hear people blast Facebook, I become afraid that it would be gone, and I would lose the ability to be in touch with my network.

None of the bad things that people say about Facebook could compensate for the lifeline it provides me.

FB is not the only social network nor the only form of communication. I have come to this conclusion about the whatever it's called now as a bystander watching the massive damage it has done to all of us, it has to go because it will not change enough to not be dangerous.

You make it seems as though I am drinking poison kool-aid and I am going to die because I use Facebook. That's what poison is. Something that kills people. Dead. Like a bullet to the head. I am trying to understand why you think that Facebook would make me die, when it does just the opposite for me.

I am trying to understand why you think Facebook is actively killing millions of Americans who use it, and find it valuable. Are we all going to die? When are we going to die? Is it a quick death like a bullet? Or a slow death like glass in the stomach? Please tell me. I am trying not to die.

That's quite a leap there. Poison doesn't always kill but it can sicken and weaken to debilitation leading to a painful existence.

Like I said, go for it if that's what works for you. I have a different view of its overall affect on humanity... hard to help someone who is fully engaged to see the real dangers, like an abused person in an abusive relationship.

But you don't have to believe me, it's your choice.

Someone who is in an abusive relationship is usually being punched. Has black eyes and arms. May be being raped. If it is verbally abusive, they are being so belittled that they lose their entire sense of self-worth.

Facebook does not do this to me.

I posted something in DU lounge about Facebook trying to understand the hate. And apparently it depends on how you use it. If you can swim around the BS, the Fake News, if you aren't inundated with irritating ads, if you avoid the false friends, and if you don't mind the fact that your personal information is being sold, I just don't see the problem.

If you fall into the traps, then I can see where it might be a problem. But so far, none of the things anyone has said about Facebook takes away from its personal value for me.

I'm waiting for you to tell me the dangers. So far, you have not. You have simply repeated analogies to doom, disaster, sickness and weakening and abusive relationships.

And YOU are belittling me for liking Facebook. It seems as though you are mocking me, and purposely ignoring the possibility that it has value for some people. I don't know why you are doing this.

I bought a property in Katy TX in December 2013. It was a 7600sq foot building. I increased the size by attaching a 3500 foot area for a church and book storage area for our ministry. I did not take out a loan to add the church and spent all my savings and maxed my credit cards to build the church. We have been using the property for prayer and deliverance services with a few people traveling to come pray.

April 1st 2016 I put together a deed transfer to transfer it to the ministry name to get tax break...

And God will bless you for sowing in our ministry in this time of need in Jesus name.
