Do you get crazy right wing chain e-mails?

I do, and I usually don't read them. But I got one today that after reading it I realized that it would be great to pass on.

I'm not a troll, I'm a lurker. And I know a lot on DU will not like me for this. But bear with me.

I'm going to paste this e-mail here. I am forwarding it to all the people who are on the send to: lists of the right wing e-mails I get forwarded. I figure they are the "intended audience" and that they might benefit from reading this information.

I'm posting this on DU because I know that a lot of you have someone who forwards you right wing e-mails, and maybe some of you want to forward this back to their lists of e-mails. Read it carefully, think about what it says, and consider forwarding it back to the people who spam you. To use that cliche, make it viral.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

If you're like me, you get a lot of e-mails about things like politics and religion. There's a lot of big money behind a lot of them, but there's no money behind this one. Just one average Christian that loves his country that wants to have the courage to share an important truth. Please read this. Please think about it.

Mitt Romney. We all know he lies and will say anything people want to hear. But we are going to vote for him anyway because he is the lesser of two evils. We know that all politicians lie anyway. But bear with me. Have you ever thought about why Romney is willing to do anything to get votes?

It is because he honestly believes he is the fulfillment of Joseph Smith's “White Horse” prophecy. Smith was the founder of the Mormon church, and he prophesized that one day a Mormon riding a white horse would become President and turn the country to Mormon teachings.

As Christians, we have all been leery to think or talk too much about Mormonism. Most of us know some Mormons and they are good people, good family values, salt of the earth. I'm not going to say one bad thing about those people here, God loves them and so do I. But because we have become so afraid of being called “bigots” we won't say anything at all, and there are some important truths we must know.

We Christians know what the prophecies of the book of revelations says about the rider of the pale horse, and we know that the bible contains the only true prophecies. But the Mormon church doesn't have “just” the bible. They have other books written by their prophet Joseph Smith, that contains other stories about Jesus and other words and deeds attributed to him. Our parents and grandparents knew what to call that: “heresy.” The bible tells us to beware of false prophets. The Romney family has been with the Mormon's since the beginning, with Joseph Smith and Brigham Young. Mitt Romney's Great-grandfather was kicked out of Utah when the US outlawed polygamy. He and his followers formed a polygamist compound in Mexico where Mitt's father was born.

The Romney's have always been working toward fulfilling this prophecy. This is what Mitt Romney meant when he said he went to France during the Viet Nam war “because he was too important to go to Viet Nam.” This is why he would do anything to make money, buying companies and taking their resources, leaving them bankrupt and sending the jobs to China. This is why he was willing to do and say anything to get elected as Governor of Massachusetts and now President.

My Father taught me that when you deal with liars you look at what they DO not what they SAY. As Governor, Romney signed a law banning guns. He was listed as one of the best supporters of “pro-choice.” He required government money to pay for abortions, required that planned parenthood be a part of the state-mandated health insurance. He owns a company that has made $50 million dollars off of abortions.

NOW HERE IS THE IMPORTANT PART.

Ask yourself now how a good Mormon could go beyond his Church's teachings and support abortion (though he now says he against it). Romney explained it himself. Romney is a BISHOP in the Mormon church. He said he went to the Church Elders (in the Mormon Church, the elder is considered a prophet and a direct link to God) and asked them. He said the elders told him that he could be pro-choice because “you probably wouldn't get enough votes to win in Massachusetts any other way.” Now seriously think about this. When he needed votes in Massachusetts he was “pro-choice” but now he needs Christian votes he is “pro-life.” Really? Why would the Elders be willing to sell out their own religious convictions in order to get votes?

Because of Joseph Smith's “white horse prophecy.” The Mormons do not believe that there is only one God and that we find salvation only through faith in God's grace. Instead, they believe that if you serve the words of their prophet you will become the God of your own world. With that belief system, “the ends justify the means.”

Now, do you understand why he is willing to “say anything” to try and get votes? Romney does not have one single ancestor who ever served in the US military or fought in a war. Think about that, not one. So when he doesn't thank the military it isn't because he just forgot, its because they are honestly not important to him. When he says that older folks on social security and medicare “aren't his job to worry about” it is because they aren't important to him. When he sent US jobs overseas, its because those people weren't important to him. What is important to him is the mission he thinks he is on to fulfill the white horse prophecy, and he and the Mormon elders are willing to sell out their souls to get there.

Are you willing to sell out your soul to help him? Do you want the Mormon Prophets in charge of the president of the USA, for this whole country to be ran as if it was Salt Lake City? Or do you value your religious freedom and the freedom to worship as you see fit? We Christians simply can not vote for Romney. If you can't stand to vote for the “other guy” then just don't vote. Or vote for a third party candidate who is a TRUE CONSERVATIVE. Or write in a person who shares your values.

Please, so many Christians have been afraid of looking like bigots, but there is not one word of this e-mail that isn't true. Look on the internet, look on “snopes,” share it and talk about it with your friends and pastors and church goers. Please, e-mail it to all the people on your “lists” - not one person will find an untruth here. Search for the truth.

It comes from their "voice". It's the language they speak, and it goes to the values that are key to them.
