Florida is facing a double threat to it's Nov. election: CV and Hurricane Destruction

https://www.washingtonpost.com/weather/2020/08/01/hurricane-isaias-path-florida/?hpid=hp_hp-more-top-stories_isaias-1115am%3Ahomepage%2Fstory-ans

Hurricane Isaias barrels toward Florida before it surges up entire East Coast
Heavy rain, high winds and coastal flooding are possible from Florida to New England.

By Jason Samenow, Andrew Freedman and Matthew Cappucci August 1, 2020 at 2:16 p.m. EDT

Since Friday, the storm has drenched the southeastern and central Bahamas, buffeting the islands with hurricane-force winds, while also likely producing several feet of storm surge inundation. The northwest Bahamas will contend with the brunt of Isaias on Saturday as it closes in on Florida where an extremely close shave or direct hit is possible Saturday night or Sunday.

The tropical threat comes as the Sunshine State continues to grapple with a sharp increase in coronavirus cases.

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) issued a state of emergency for counties along Florida’s Atlantic coast.

He said that the state and local communities are opening shelters while ensuring proper protocols be taken in the face of the covid-19 pandemic.

FL and other states will do the legal thing while having criminals in power.

They've registered hundreds of Democrats and are now contacting NPA voters to encourage them to vote by mail. Democrats now well surpass Republicans in VBM registrations across the state.

I've signed up to be a poll watcher on election day, as have many other Democrats in our rural red county. Some will be at the elections office on election day monitoring the VBM counting.

We are not taking anything for granted.

Repukes i would assume?

If so, would not surprise me if they cancel voting and appoint the electors instead.

Just like Colorado did in 1876. The Constitution allows the state legislatures to set the manner for the selection of electors.

They will use CV and hurricanes as the excuse for it.
