Taking a look at the bright side of the whole VP discussion...
Let me start by saying, I'm all in no matter who Joe picks. I'm good. My preference is leaning towards Kamala, but I think Rice would be nice, too. But hell, anybody off the list will do a good job.
There is a real upside to all of this, and it stems from when Joe first announced it would definitively, no question be a woman. I liked that, and the slate of women that have emerged as possibilities is well stocked with competent, strong women, any of whom could do the job with aplomb. Frankly, I don't think that whoever he picks for VP will matter much in the election. Dems are pretty united and I don't think this would alienate anybody who matters come election day.
What I really like and look forward to is just how many women, most from this list of course, will be asked to serve on the cabinet.
Raise your hand if you would love to see 10 women in the cabinet. This old white guy would love it.
