I just finished a batch of postcards to get registered dems to vote on nov. 3rd

1. We will be filling out fifty postcards

to send to Wisconsin just before the Nov. 3 election. Our Indivisible group is doing hundreds of them.

I have two precincts to phone bank here, just before the election.

7. As I have posted here I am a veteran at phonebanking

Have done it since John Kerry. Dramatic change in last 6 weeks. South Central Mi. Each week has been rewarding in its' own way. Getting people who say I'm a Republican. but. They then tell me what finally convinced them. Way different than other times. I've even had people call back because they want to talk to a person. I committed to one day a week for now. But I will do it more frequently as we get nearer to the event. I don't just read the script. I talk until they talk, then I listen.

I could get a word in edgewise.

I never thought phone banking would make a useful comeback, but you have shown that people are answering and needing to talk to a live person; and with the added benefit of finding out that some republicans are becoming enlightened.

9. Lots of no answers. Each week I've had at least one call back.

Amazing how many people haven't set up their voice mailbox just saying. In a red district I get used to hangups and people that want to argue. I had 0 of those last week. Some listened with no comment. But 0 hangups. The whole feel is different.
