When I read his Vietnam deferment was for a nervous condition, I went and looked for pics of him with a gun. I expected to find him skeet shooting, or maybe dressed up as a hunter and holding a gun anyway. Nope. A couple in a suit and tie, I suppose at some NRA hootenanny, but no others. Probably hides under his bed with his dog on the Fourth of July.

would hide whenever he got near a gun. He had no concept of safety, and barely knew which end to hold.
