Can we find out which members of House and Senate hold stock in USPS competitors?
Maybe we should have that information before there are any votes on the disposition of the post office.

(14,113 posts)If the USPS was privatized or dissolved/liquidated what privatized outfit would step in to buy out/absorb and deliver the US Mail ?
This person wonders who owns stock in these USPS competitors, and would vote to de-fund the postal operations so the delivery of the mail could be privatized.
Conflict of interests - if they vote to privatize they would realize financial gain if they own stock in these companies.
Potential ethics concerns being called into question so as not to allow the contamination of any vote to de-fund or dissolved the USPS with motivations of financial gain or profit.

Trumps Postmaster General Louis DeJoy and his wife, Aldona Wos, nominated to become our ambassador to Canada, own between $30 million and $75 million of assets in competitors to the US Postal Service. No problem there, right?
