People who haven't received mail in weeks line up at post office

DUNDALK, Md. —
Some people in the Baltimore area have waited two weeks or more for mail delivery.

Residents in Dundalk have started lining up at the post office every day to try to get bills, checks and other important notices. They said it's beyond frustrating to go to the post office and wait in a line day after day, especially for those waiting on checks that will help pay their bills.

Kasandra Peros lined up with dozens of others Thursday at the Dundalk Post Office with the hope of picking up their mail. She has been waiting on her unemployment debit card.

"We haven't been receiving any mail at the house for like two weeks now," Peros said. "Bills aren't getting paid. My car insurance has been due. I got bills that need to be paid, and I can't pay them because I can't get my mail."

2. I was expecting a certified registered packet from overseas

It sat somewhere in New York before I finally got it after submitting several queries.

It was not funny at all and I was very worried it had been lost.

Seems it was sitting nearby in a local post office collecting dust for over 3 weeks best I can tell.

Not good.

11. This has been going on for a while in Baltimore.

I have family there and they often don't get mail for days. They also haven't gotten a water bill for nearly 8 months. Baltimore has problems.

12. In Dallas, the mail is slow

My brother called from Northern Virginia to say that he got something in the mail that some trust started by one our great-grandfathers 100 years ago was being liquidated. It can‘t be much because I was getting annual checks from it for $101.32, and there are still 20 or so living heirs. The paperwork will probably cost more than the distribution, but I‘d like to get it out of the way while I‘m in the States. Who knows when it will get to Dallas, though? October?

Of course, Trump has appointed a guy as Postmaster General who is the equivalent of appointing General Santa Ana to defend the Alamo.
