They won't all rush into the Dem Party. Many, like Joe Scar, will become Independents. Maybe we'll get some true converts and they'll join us here at DU as proud new Democrats!

What if they go back to their roots! What if they become diehard Republicans again!

Yeah? So what?

Let's say they do. They could have stayed diehard Republicans, or at least just shut up and say nothing.

In the meantime they are some of the most articulate and cutting and effective voices against Trump and GOP senators. Not to mention they can reach people that a circle jerk on DU or Daily Kos doesn't.

If the choice is the LP will be...

Anti-Trump now - future GOP
GOP now - future GOP

...I'm going to take the former.

(Not to mention, some have made clear they are, indeed, done with the Republican party.)
