NY-24: Katko aligns himself with Biden in new TV ad

WASHINGTON — Rep. John Katko (R-N.Y.) found a novel message for his latest TV ad: Even Joe Biden thinks my Democratic opponent is too liberal.

Biden takes a starring role in the 30-second spot, which juxtaposes the former vice president and Dana Balter, a Democratic professor making her second run against Katko in his Upstate New York seat.

The ad warns that Balter supports "Medicare for All" and features footage of Biden calling the plan “absolutely preposterous,” and warning that it will cost $30 trillion and “raise taxes on middle-class people”

“If Dana Balter won’t tell the truth about her radical health care plan, Joe Biden will,” a narrator says in the ad, which is backed by a six-figure buy and will begin running Friday in the Syracuse market. “Dana Balter: Too extreme for Joe Biden. Way too extreme for central New York.”

it's what the rest of civilization does. Healthcare as it stands in the US is unsustainable and must change to single payer lest we are comfortable being a Third World nation.
