Just because someone loses a loved one to COVID, don't expect a change of politics.

It will happen, of course, to a few but a lot of people ask how Trump could still maintain a large base of support despite everything that's happened. Well...

Here's a story about a man who lost his mother and his step-father to COVID. They're from Florida. They went within a month of each other. Is the son angry? No. Does the son blame Trump or DeSantis? No.

The son still attacks Biden as a socialist racist.

They rail against the encroachment of socialism in America.

They fully, and without reservation, continue to support Trump.

Why?

Because it's God's will. For many of these people, they actually believe that it is what it is.

Sure, they're brokenhearted over the loss of their loved one - but they look at as the flu and, gosh, no one was blaming Obama for the 500,000+ Americans who died during his twelve years in office from the flu. So, why should we blame Trump?

That's the mentality that will always keep Trump above where we all think he should be approval-wise and head-to-head with Biden.

For a solid chunk of this country, dying from what very easily could have been a preventable death had the government acted responsibly, isn't enough to change their ideological make-up.

They still hate liberals.

They still hate socialism.

They still hate Democrats.

even if they do decide a human is to blame.

The RWNJ narratives on coronavirus are nucking futs. Truly incredibly bonkers.

Everything that goes wrong is someone else's fault, and Trump is totally blameless.

We aren't exaggerating when we say these people are members of a cult.

They have been brainwashed and conditioned to believe that the left is evil, demonic and they are fighting for their lives.

A lot of them believe that the virus was created by the left to hurt trump in the election.

That is the sad fact and the most dangerous truth we have to face. Even when trump loses we still face the mindset of the true believers and they will be worse than ever in my opinion for they will have lost their buffer and will be ready to lash out.

I hope I am wrong.

They back Trump because, deep down, they see him as a way to get money by letting old people die.

If I were a Republican senior, i'd vote against Trump and tell my relatives that I put a clause in my will. If I die from covid, all the money goes to charity. That would cost Trump a lot of votes.

to eliminate healthcare and coverage of pre-existing conditions. When it hits the family finances, the "god's will" bullshit goes in the dumpster
