Are the Covid deaths in Florida of non residents being listed in their "home" states?

I did a spot check and the deaths in Florida were roughly twice the official number because Florida only reports the death of residents. At least as a Covid statistic. Fair enough, as long as those deaths due to Covid showing up elsewhere.

And I don’t remember if it was a state site or a newspaper from Florida but I noticed the number of deaths specifically said residents. But there was a roughly equal number of non residents. When I looked on worldometers for Florida the number of deaths listed was only the resident ones. That number matched exactly.
