New poll: Sink would beat Scott, Crist would tie in 2014 gov race

The Newd Service of Florida:

Democrat Alex Sink would defeat Gov. Rick Scott in a hypothetical rematch of their 2010 governor’s election according to a poll of likely voters released Thursday. The poll, conducted this week for the Tampa Bay Times, the Miami Herald, El Nuevo Herald, Bay News 9 and Central Florida News 13 by Mason Dixon polling, showed Sink beating Scott 47 percent to 39 percent, the news organizations reported Thursday. Meanwhile, former Republican-turned independent Gov. Charlie Crist is essentially tied with Scott – ahead of the governor by less than the margin of error in the poll – when respondents were asked about that hypothetical race in 2014. The telephone poll of 800 registered voters who said they will likely vote in November, was conducted over two days ending Wednesday by Mason-Dixon. The margin of error is plus or minus 3.5 percentage points. Half of those surveyed in the same poll said they disapprove of Scott’s job performance.

I thought the headline was talking about a KITCHEN SINK....

You know, like "Even a doorknob could beat (fill in name of GOP candidate) at this point..."
