Drunken Irishman

Trump's entire presidency is built on smoke and mirrors.

Everything he does is so superficial that, in six or so months, it'll be rolled back by, hopefully, Joe Biden. It's all show. Trump, above everything, is just a cheap showman and nothing else. His EOs today? Toothless. Just like his EO on pre-existing conditions. It's all done to create the illusion of relief, the media headline, hoping he can con dumb people into believing it.

In terms of actual, long-term legislative accomplishment, Trump is going to have a stinker of a presidency for this very reason.

Organizations don't recover quickly after they're purged of people with decades of institutional knowledge.

It will take a long time to fix things.

As far as short-term destruction and decimation of just about everything that's beneficial for us and the World from the Federal Government, he has set a new record that will live in infamy if we can evict his corpulent, lazy ass, otherwise, he will finish everything off.

We have a chance to roll it all back very quickly, though, in January.

He has never succeeded at anything, other than a con.

He will be seen as the EPIC LOSER that he is. And will hopefully be penniless and in jail, while he faces that summation of his life.

Here's a thing that's been kicking around in my head for a while...

Of all the institutional memory recently lost, much can possibly be restored by those very people returning to their former positions. I suspect that the transition team may make an appeal to all those who would return to start the reconstruction at their prior positions. I would consider it even though I'm retired.
